Bridal at the Country Club

A few months back I did a bridal shoot at the Country Club of Louisiana. What a great venue! There are plenty of places to get great shots any time of the day. The wedding is over now and I can post a few images. We did a few indoors then on the porch outside. I like using a remote flash that is powerful enough to overpower the sun but light enough to grab and go.

Dirty Diva Dirty Dude Race

Last Sunday was the Dirty Diva race and the weather could not have been any better. The Divas started at 1:00 then the children at 2:00 and the Dudes at 2:30. It was an obstacle course with a mud pit, a pile of hay bales and other obstacles in the way. I photographed the mud section and by the time the Duds came in it was good and muddy as you can see from the pics. Many thanks to a good friend Georgan for covering the hay obstacle and my wife Karen for capturing some great action shots.

Kayla and Jason

Last Sunday I was in New Orleans shooting Kayla and Jason’s engagement session. We originally planed to go down town but the weather forced us to change plans and do the shoot at the location of the wedding. The Benachi House & Gardens was an excellent place for the engagement session. We shot in the house during the rain and it cleared up enough to do location shots outside.
I used off camera flash with my Quantum T5D 90% of the time.
